
Sessions and I was the guy who would clear the ball. Like I was the guy, I ran the conditioning And I thought that I was, you know, I was like the, I Like, and doing that as that being your first class, that’s like a, yeah, it’sĪ difficult start. I had, I know, you know, no idea of what postures we’d be doing orĪnything for an athlete that can be really difficult. Yoga, so be come yoga, if you’re familiar, it’s the 105 degrees, it’s 90 And so I’m thinking, okay, I’m going to crushĪnd you know, you, you get in and it’s, this is Bikram There and you know, it was your typical yoga class. And so I looked around at the people who are also in Hoodie and my Wisconsin lacrosse pants and everything. I was wearing my like Wisconsin hoodie, my Wisconsin lacrosse You know, was this going to help me? And I was totallyīrought out. I talked with the yoga instructor at the front desk and I said, here’s theĭeal. Like, okay, well I’m dressed up the workout. And IĮnded up walking into a yoga studio.

I couldn’t figure out how to get into this building. So I was trying to find the tailor and I couldn’t find out. I know I was home for winter break and I was going to go to the gym,īut before I went to the gym, I was going to go to the tailor. But my story with how I actually started yoga was completely onĪccident. It would make me a better lacrosse player. I was curious about and wanting to keep doing yoga because I believed And so when I first started yoga, it was within the context of Something that’s always been really important to me. It’s something that I’ve always made time for. But fitness has alwaysīeen something that I’ve always been extremely passionate about. Of where that was where I was headed professionally. State department and I studied international, you know, international studiesĪnd international affairs and fluent Turkish and Persian. I was also involved with I did a lot of stuff with So my background is mostly as an athlete. Information of who you are, how’d you get here and what you do.
